Lori J. Trauffer, 49, of Davenport, passed away peacefully Dec. 20, 2012, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness.
A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Knights of Columbus, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family or to the Dialysis Unit at Genesis East Medical Center. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is assisting the family. Lori was born on Jan. 12, 1963, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert and Wanda Letterman Trauffer. She graduated from Davenport West High School.
She loved her family and her cat, Bridget. She enjoyed crossword puzzles; her computer; and her favorite, a cold can of Pepsi.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda (Dan) Spears; father, Bob (Carol) Trauffer; sister, Becky (Tom) Holling; brothers, Terry Trauffer and Jeff (Cindy) Trauffer; sister-in-law, Darlene Trauffer; nieces; nephews; two great-nephews; and good friend, Jay.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and brother, Craig.
The family would like to thank Dr. AlSheika and the Genesis Dialysis Unit for their kindness and friendship to Lori. They were her second family.
