Rodger and Colleen Bayless, Dahinda, Ill., will be honored at an open house, Sunday, Jan. 6, in observance of their 50th anniversary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Geneseo Community Center, 541 E. North St., Geneseo.
The couple also celebrated with a five-week road trip to Alaska in April and May.
Colleen Cherry and Mr. Bayless were married June 30, 1962.
Their children are Tamara Bayless, Bettendorf; Angela Hall, Moline; Melissa Six, deceased; Rodger Bayless II, Galesburg; and Joseph Bayless, Dahinda. They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rodger retired in 2012.
