U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-East Moline, has announced plans to open a congressional office in Suite 101 of the McKesson Building at 100 19th St., Rock Island. The office will be opened once furniture, phone lines and other equipment is installed, a news release said. New members of Congress were given access to office budgets last week, allowing them to secure leases. "My new Quad-Cities office will serve as a one stop shop for families across the Quad-Cities area who are in need of a listening ear and a lending hand," a statement from Rep. Bustos said. "My staff and I look forward to getting to know and helping constituents across our region, and we welcome them to drop by our office to say hello in the upcoming weeks."
