Quad Cities Chamber connects area businesses, legislators

The Quad Cities Chamberis hosting several legislative events and invites local business officials to attend and tweet questions for lawmakers in advance to @ChamberQC by using the appropriate hashtag. The chamber's priorities address economic growth, investment in infrastructure and taxes, but all lead back to the goal to create a more business-friendly environment in the region. Events and hashtags: - Illinois Legislative Forum, Friday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Stoney Creek Inn, Moline. Sen. Mike Jacobs, Rep. Pat Verschoore,Rep. Norine Hammond, Rep. Mike Smiddy and Sen. Darin LaHood will address questions about the business climate in relation to stability and predictability for business, as well as their plan to address issues facing the state, such as pensions costs and state debt.
