Tickets still are available for tonight's Inaugural Ball in Davenport to celebrate President Barack Obama's second inauguration.

The ball, from 6 p.m. to midnight at The RiverCenter,136 E. 3rd St., includes dinner, beverages,music by Anthony Catalfano and the Funktastic Five and large-screen projections from the inaugural balls in Washington, D.C.

Tickets are $40, and proceeds will go to Churches United's shelter for homeless women.

The event is being organized by Sue Golden, of Rock Island, and Cathy Bolkcom, of LeClaire, who also organized a ball to celebrate President Obama's 2009 inauguration.

The Hotel Blackhawk has discounted rooms for those attending the ball at a rate of $119, according to a news release.
