CAMBRIDGE -- Jerry Britton, 43, of Kewanee entered a negotiated guilty plea to Class 3 felony violation of sex offender registry Thursday and was sentenced to six years in prison, one year mandatory supervised release.

He also was ordered to pay $500 plus court costs and to continue to register as a sex offender. The charge was filed Dec. 28.
