The matchups of the Nos. 4 and 5 seeds of the Class 4A United Township Regional and the Class 3A Galesburg Regional will draw plenty of Quad-Cities attention, with seeds being announced on Thursday.

In 4A, Moline, as the No. 4, and United Township, the No. 5, will face off in a play-in game to the semifinals at the UT gathering.

In 3A, No. 4 Geneseo will meet No. 5 Alleman as the Galesburg Regional play-in game to the semifinals.

Rock Island got the top seed in the UT Regional, followed by No. 2 Peoria Richwoods and No. 3 Pekin. Those two will match up and meet the winner of Rock Island vs. the Moline-UT survivor.

At Galesburg, the Silver Streaks check in as a No. 2 seed, behind top-seeded Quincy Notre Dame. Galesburg will face No. 3 seed Canton in the semifinals.

The 3A and 4A regionals start the week of Feb. 25.
