Jessica's Hope, a benefit for Jessica Hope Ruh, daughter of Buddy and Carmen Ruh, will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Aledo VFW. There will be an auction, silent auction, raffles, pie auction and more. All donations are accepted. In October, Jessica was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and linear scleroderma. She is being treated at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, undergoing a 12-week course of intravenous therapy. For information, call (309) 582-7990.
