Riverdale is hosting an open house tonight at 5 in the high school cafeteria to honor its newest hall of fame members.

Both Guy Dierikx and Dorian Ulrey will be inducted into the Riverdale Hall of Fame.

Dierikx, a 2004 graduate, was an all-conference performer in both football and basketball. He also won two state track medals. After graduating from Riverdale, he continued his career at Central (Iowa) College, where he was an All-American in both football and track.

One of the most decorated athletes in school history, Ulrey was a two-time Class A state champion in the 1600-meter run. The 2006 graduate then continued his career at Northern Iowa and Arkansas. Among his many accolades were the 2010 NCAA 3000-meter indoor title and 2011 national runner-up in the outdoor 1500.

Ulrey competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials last summer.

Dierikx and Ulrey also will be honored at halftime of tonight's boys' basketball game.
