Daryl and Patricia "Pat" Hergert, Rock Island, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a private family dinner.
The former Patricia Engels, of Rock Island, and Mr. Hergert, of Sherrard, were married Feb. 23, 1963, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.
Their children are Brian, Rock Island; Diana (Don) Ballantine, Gilbert, Ariz.; and Mark (Erin), Rock Island.
Mr. Hergert retired after 30 years of service at John Deere Seeding Division, formerly Plow and Planter Works, Moline.
Mrs. Hergert was employed at Royal Neighbors of America and the former Bear Manufacturing Company, Rock Island.
