Robert D. "Bob" Anderson, 80, of Peoria, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.
He was born Feb. 4, 1933, in Moline, to Melvin and Bernice Schmoll Anderson. He married Marlene Shambaugh Feb. 2, 1952, in Geneseo.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Lynette Kay (Joseph) Dowell, Chula Vista, Calif., Suzette Marie (Michael) Long, Peoria, and Doreen Yvette (Dave) Freckleton, Peoria; son, Kurt Robert (Kandy) Anderson, Dunlap, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Loretta (Jim) Hohenboken, Coal Valley.
