Burrage, Randle near a 'grand' milestone

Kannon Burrage and Chasson Randle are nearing 1,000-point career milestones as the season nears its conclusion.

Burrage, a Texas-San Antonio senior guard and 2009 United Township graduate, has 889 career points with a guaranteed five games remaining. So far this season, Burrage, who transferred to UTSA last year, averages a team-leading 17.5 points per game this year. To reach the 1,000-point mark, he will need to average 22.2 points in those five games.

With at least four games left this season, Randle, a Stanford sophomore guard and 2011 Rock Island graduate, has 896 career points. Randle averages 13.7 points for the reigning NIT champions. To reach 1,000 career points, he will need to average 26 points in the last four games.
