St. James, St. John's and First Lutheran, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America congregations in Rock Island, will hold combined Midweek Lenten Holden Evening Prayer services at 7 p.m. Wednesdays, at Hauberg Center, 1300 24th St., preceded by 6 p.m. "Making Sense of the Cross" Lenten book series; dates and participants are:

Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 2321 18th Ave.: Maundy Thursday Service, 7 p.m. March 28; Easter Services, 7 and 10:30 a.m. March 31.
Two Rivers United Methodist Church, 1820 5th Ave.: 22nd annual 2013 Lenten Noontime Concert Series; 12:15 p.m. Wednesdays, in the church sanctuary.
Wednesday: Cellist Michael Wahlmann and pianist Larry Peterson.
March 20: Baritone Mark Swessinger.
March 27: Organist Stephen Steely.
Each free concert lasts about a half hour; free-will donations accepted.
15th Avenue Christian Church, 3600 15th Ave., 9:30 a.m. Easter Sunday service, with coffee and rolls served at 8:30 a.m.; 7 p.m. Good Friday service, with combined choirs of First Christian, Moline; First Christian, Davenport and church hosts; Palm Sunday service will feature special speaker and music.
