Make the Magic event to take place at the Figge

On Saturday, April 27, Camp KesemAugustana will host Make the Magic from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m. at the Figgee Art Museum. The first-time event will feature camper, counselor, and parent speakers, camp activities, and the community for a night benefiting Camp KesemAugustana.
Stations related to camp activities will be placed throughout the venue giving our guests a special taste of the magic counselors and campers experience at camp. There will also be a silent auction, cash bar and hor d'oeuvres provided by the Figge Art Museum.
"Magic is what Camp Kesem is all about," explained Jenna Orabutt, co-chair. "Kesem, which means 'magic' in Hebrew, is what this event will bring to the community. Anyone in the community is invited to attend and listen to testimonials, meet the counselors, and learn more about Camp Kesem."
Camp KesemAugustana's goal is to raise $15,000 more in order to send 60 campers to camp this summer. Tickets to the event are $50 each and can be purchased online at Augustana.kintera.org/MakeTheMagic. For ticket information, please email Augustana@campkesem.org or call (630) 664-3363.
Camp KesemAugustana was founded in May 2011 and held its first camp in the summer of 2012. Last summer the camp served 35 children and raised $37,000. Camp KesemAugustana already has 36 spots filled for the summer of 2013, and currently has just under $30,000 raised.
