Harold "Hal" Uriah Linson Jr., 52, of Moline, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at Trinity Moline.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and a private family service has been held. Remembrances and sympathy cards for the family can be mailed to the funeral home. Memorials may be made to his family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline is assisting the family.
Harold was born on Sept. 16, 1960, in Evanston, Ill., the son of Harold Uriah Sr. and Laura Corcoran Linson. He married Jayne Kimbel on Aug. 15, 1998, in Andalusia.
Harold worked as a machinist for Fosbinder Fabrication and later for Parr Instruments and was currently a foreman with Roth Pump. Harold enjoyed outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, ATV riding and water skiing. He especially loved mushroom hunting with his daughters. Harold was the kindest person and a friend to all.
Survivors include his wife, Jayne Kimbel Linson, Moline; daughters, Erin (Dave Howlett) Linson, Davenport, and Ashley (Shirah) Linson, Ossining, N.Y.; granddaughter, Hannah Howlett; mother, Laura Linson, Moline; and sister, Heather Linson, Hoboken, N.J. He was preceded in death by his father.
