QC ACT now free to students

DAVENPORT -- Quad City Artists Coming Together (QC ACT), a series that provides Quad Cities artists with the opportunity to augment their knowledge of the business side of their craft, is now free to students. The second session, sponsored by River Music Experience (RME), MidCoast Fine Arts, the Figge Art Museum, Quad City Arts, and the Adler Theatre, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 4 at Bucktown Center for the Arts in Davenport. Keynote speaker will be Glorie Iaccarino of Eco Arts Council of the Quad Cities. Attorney Rian Waterman of Lane & Waterman LLP will discuss understanding contracts. A panel discussion, "Artists as Self Promoters," will include artist Ralph Iaccarino, musician Jamie Hopkins, and Jeff DeLeon from ComedySportz.
Funding support for the QC ACT series is provided by Quad City Arts and The HAVlife Foundation.
Cost for the remaining three sessions is $30 each. All students are admitted free with a valid school ID.
