She is a senior at Geneseo High School. She is a member of St. Malachy's Catholic Church in Geneseo. She will receive a $500 scholarship for her winning essay. She is also the recipient of an Illinois State Scholar Award, Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award, National Honor Society, Prairie State Achievement Award, Scholar Athlete Award, Herff-Jones Principal's Award and Academic All-Conference Award.
