Rock Island County Republicans Annual Ronald Reagan BBQ will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Milan Community Center, 2701 1st St. E. Milan. BBQ pulled pork sandwich, potato salad and baked beans served by Viet Nam Veterans Chapter 299 from 4:30-6:30. Los Mocambos will provide music, 4-6. There will be a $1 auction for pies and a quilt. Speakers will begin at 6:30 and include gubernatorial candidates Bruce Rauner Senator Kirk Dillard, keynote speaker, Ill. Treasurer Dan Rutherford; candidates for Illinois Rep. 71st District, Jeff McKinley and Jim Wozniak; candidates for Illinois 17th Congressional District Eric Reyes and former congressman Bobby Schilling; guest speakers, Patrick Hughes and Dan Proft, Ill. Policy Institute; Representative John Cabello, Ill. House 68th District. Cost in advance is $20 per adult or $30 per family; $25/$35 at the door.
