BHC closed Monday; alarm testing at 10 a.m.

All Black Hawk College facilities will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents' Day.

Although the college will be closed, there will be some noise coming from two college locations.

The BHC Police Department will test the fire and emergency alarm system at the Quad-Cities Campus and East Campus simultaneously beginning at 10 a.m. Monday.

Interior and exterior audible alarms will be activated for the testing. Numerous prerecorded messages will be broadcast around the college and may be heard off-campus. Residents and passersby should not be alarmed -- this is only a test.

Testing should be intermittent and last 15-20 minutes.
