-- There were no weapons of mass destruction, but we went to war anyway. This war that was none of our business, went on longer than WWII and had more victims.

Billions and billions of dollars were spent in a country we had no business in. No other country butted in when we had our civil war. Thank God!'

-- Because of the war, we are in a very bad state of affairs. The party that did all this now will not help our president fix it. It would rather stick itself in the eye than help. It's unpatriotic. Did you notice when the president spoke at the State of the Union, House Speaker John Boehner never smiled. Very few clapped and only stood at the end. I really don't know why anyone would be a Republican except if they are very rich, and there aren't that many of those.

-- I'm very upset about five advertisements during TV commercial breaks. Years ago there was a rule on this. There are 20 minutes of commercials in a 60-minute program. Some of them are very loud.

-- The police should have guns and people who shoot deer and other animals can have a rifle, period! When the Constitution was signed, things were different. Why go back to the old ways? A lot of people besides me do not want people to have guns that kill in schools and theaters. Just a mental exam won't tell if they are dangerous.

Just don't sell them.

My husband was a hunter and the gun was kept in a locked place where no one but he could get it.
