The Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead, 28050 230th Ave. at Bluff Road, Scott County, Ia., is open daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The 1847 farmhouse was built by Isaac Cody, Buffalo Bill's father. Cattle and buffalo graze outside the home. A gift shop is on the grounds. Admission is $2; ages 16 and under free. Group tours are available. Call (563) 225-2981 for details.
