As of 3:15 p.m., there were 964 MidAmerican customers without power, 821 of them in rural Henry County and 114 in Colona. There also were nine each in Moline and East Moline, and one in Rock Island.

MidAmerican spokesman Tim Grabinski said traffic lights were out for about a half hour in downtown Moline at 19th Street and 7th Avenue, and 19th and 6th Avenue, due to a separate outage from downed tree limbs on a power line. That's been fixed, he said.

Outages were reported in residential areas of Moline, but most of those have been fixed.

Mr. Grabinski did not have further details about the the cause of the Henry County outage.
