Brenda K. Ingram, 62, of South Jacksonville, Ill., and formerly of Murrayville, Ill., passed away Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 11, 2012, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill.

A private service will be held. Memorials are suggested to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of the arrangements.

She was born Aug. 8, 1950, in Wood River, Ill., the daughter of Louis and Mildred Goodman Reneau. She married William A. Ingram on Sept. 1, 1970, in Bowling Green, Mo., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 2006.

Mrs. Ingram had been employed at the Daily Dispatch in Moline and had later worked as a secretary and in retail. She enjoyed crocheting afghans.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff Ingram, Jacksonville, and Chris (wife, Ashley) Ingram, Alsey, Ill.; three grandchildren, Mary, Brock and Brody Ingram; a cousin, Ron Finley, Glendale, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and cousins; and her Maltese, Sara. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Ingram on Nov. 22, 1987; and her parents.
