Eugenia M. Andrae Dryoel, 93, of East Moline, formerly of Orion, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Mary, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1402 10th St., Orion. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established.
Eugenia was born on Aug. 15, 1919, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Felix and Apolonia Cichocki Dembinski. She married Harry Andrae on April 27, 1940, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1988. Later, she married Robert Dryoel on Sept. 11, 1999, in Orion. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2011.
Eugenia was a member of Mary, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and the A/R Society. When her children were young she was a den mother. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed dancing, fishing, bingo and reading books.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Trish) Andrae, New Berlin, Wis., David (Eileen) Andrae, Urbana, Ill., and Dale (Mary Lou) Andrae, Coal Valley; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; grandson, Matthew Andrae; sisters, Jean Waszak and Irene Kodel; and brothers, Sigmund and Rufin.
