Phyllis A. Williams, 77, of Moline, passed away at home on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Calvary Church of the Quad Cities.
Phyllis was born on Nov. 11, 1935, in Moline, the daughter of Elmer and Jennie Valentine. She graduated from United Township High School, East Moline, in 1953. She married Thomas E. Williams on Jan. 16, 1954, in Chicago.
She was a childcare giver for many years. Phyllis was an active member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. She was a member of the Red Hat Club.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gy and Rhonda Williams, Todd and Amy Williams and Chad and Tracey Williams; nine grandchildren, Sara Williams and her husband, Jim Cook, Katie Williams, Mitch Williams and wife, Kali, Matthew Williams, Jaime Williams, Keith Williams, Courtney Weimer, Justin Brown and wife, Stefanie, and Tyler Brown; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline VanTieghem; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
