CHICAGO (AP) -- Pat Dunne kicked a 26-yard field goal with 42 seconds left Saturday to lift Lake Forest to a 16-14 victory over Chicago in the season opener for both teams.

Two Chicago fumbles enabled Lake Forest to come back from a 14-7 deficit in the final 2:42. Tom Dranger passed 32 yards to John Lischer for a score after the Foresters recovered fumble at the Maroon 33.

Dunne's winning kick was set up by another fumble recovery at midfield.
