Holiday Yam Bake

1 can (40 ounces) yams, drained
1 can (8-1/2 ounces) crushed pineapple and juice
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons chopped pecans
3/4 cup miniature marshmallows
Drain yams; mash well. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add juice to yams; add sugar and 2 tablespoons
melted butter. Beat well. Stir in pineapple and pecans.
Coat the inside of 1-1/2 quart casserole with butter. Spoon in mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake 10 minutes longer.
