BLT Dip

Noter: "I prefer not to add the lettuce but some people do. This dip is best served on toasted bread rounds or on Ritz crackers. My family enjoys this dip very much while fresh tomatoes are in season. It is a dip that can be thrown together very quickly!"

Ingredients

1 carton (16 ounces) sour cream
1 large ripe tomato, cut up
10 strips bacon, fried crisp
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Shredded Lettuce, optional

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients except the lettuce and let set for a couple of hours to flavor through. You may add the lettuce just before serving.
