Taco Filled Peppers

1 pound ground beef
1 package (1-1/4 ounces) taco seasoning
1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans
1 cup salsa
4 green peppers
1 medium-size tomato, chopped
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream

Brown ground beef. Stir in taco seasoning, beans and salsa. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5
minutes. Immerse peppers in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain.
Cut peppers lengthwise. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into each pepper half. Place in ungreased baking dish.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Uncover and top each with tomato, cheese and sour
cream.
