Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut with liquid
2/3 cup uncooked Minute Rice
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef
1-1/4 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

Instructions

In a 10-inch skillet, melt butter. Spread sauerkraut over butter. Sprinkle rice over sauerkraut. Add chopped onion. Break up raw ground beef and spread over top. Then add salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Cover and cook over low heat for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve from skillet. Make 4 to 5 servings.
