Hominy Pie

1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon flour
2 cups diced canned tomatoes
1 can (15 ounces) hominy
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef and onion; drain off any fat. Add salt, pepper and chili powder; blend well. Add flour
and tomatoes. Cook a few minutes (to heat through), stirring frequently. Add hominy.
Place mixture in 9x13-inch baking dish; spread cheese on top. Bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes.
