California Mashed Potatoes

2 pounds potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
2 tablespoons parsley (optional)
1 envelope onion soup mix
3/4 cup milk, heated to boiling
1/2 cup sour cream

Stir parsley and soup mix into mashed potatoes. Blend with hot milk and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Serves 6.
