Peanut Patties

Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs, beaten
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda

Instructions

Cream shortening and sugars. Add peanut butter and mix thoroughly. Add eggs and vanilla and stir in flour and baking soda. Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and press flat on top with a fork. Bake on a cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes at 400 degrees.
