Pistachio Dessert

Ingredients

50 Ritz crackers
1-1/2 sticks butter, melted
2 packages (4-ounces) instant pistachio pudding
1-1/2 cups milk
1 quart softened vanilla ice cream
8 ounces Cool Whip
1 Heath bar

Instructions

Crush and mix 50 Ritz crackers with 1-1/2 sticks melted butter. Press in 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool in refrigerator a few minutes. Mix 2 packages instant pistachio pudding with milk; add vanilla ice cream. Spread on cooled crust. Freeze until firm. Spread Cool Whip over top. Shave Heath bar and sprinkle over top. Freeze until one hour before serving.

1989 -- 25 years ago: The B-29 Super-Fortress bomber is impressive looking, and it did the job during World War II. Its claim to fame is dropping the atomic bombs in Japan to end the war. Only one B-29 is operational in the world today. It is on display at the Quad City Airport in Moline until Friday.
