Quick Broccoli Soup

My sister-in-law, Kathie, gave me this recipe. She thinks it's just like T.G.I. Friday's broccoli-cheese soup which we both enjoy.

1 quart water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, diced
2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes
1 package (16 ounces) frozen broccoli
2 cans (10-3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup
1 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed

Boil water, bouillon cubes, onion and celery for 15 minutes. Add hash browns and broccoli. Cook 15 minutes, add soup and cheese. Blend and stir constantly until melted.
