Val's Jiffy Cherry Cake Dessert

1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup Cool Whip
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 can (21-ounces) cherry pie filling

Blend cheese, vanilla and sugar; fold in marshmallows and Cool Whip. Add lemon juice to pie filling. Spread over all. May be served with a spoon of whipped cream.
