Sue's Barbecue Sandwiches

2 pound arm roast or chuck roast
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cube instant beef bouillon granules
3 teaspoons fresh basil or 1 tablespoon dried basil
Sauce:
1 large onion, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup catsup
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons dark mustard
1 cup water

To make sauce, cook onion in oil until limp. Add remaining sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer 1 hour.
Add meat to sauce. Heat through and serve on buns.
