Fruit Cobbler

I usually use cherries for this. Very good and low fat.

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1 quart sweetened, very hot fruit

Instructions

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, milk and melted butter or margarine. Spread mixture in bottom of buttered 2-quart baking dish. Pour hot fruit over the dough mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes until brown.
