Earthquake Bars

An easy & tasty cookie bar that will compliment and cookie tray!

Ingredients

18 ounces refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg

Instructions

Press half the cookie dough into the bottom of a greased 9-inch pan. In a small bowl, beat sugar, egg and cream cheese until smooth. Spread evenly over cookie dough. Crumble remaining dough over top. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Test with toothpick. Refrigerate after cooling.

The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
