Aunt Skip's Cheese Ball

Ingredients

4 tablespoons Hellman's mayonnaise
1-1/4 ounce package dry ranch dressing mix
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 packages Carl Buddig dried beef, chopped fine
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
16 ounces finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

Mix all ingredients well with an electric mixer. Roll in chopped pecans if desired. Make two cheese balls. Refrigerate. Serve with assorted crackers.

1989 -- 25 years ago: The B-29 Super-Fortress bomber is impressive looking, and it did the job during World War II. Its claim to fame is dropping the atomic bombs in Japan to end the war. Only one B-29 is operational in the world today. It is on display at the Quad City Airport in Moline until Friday.
