Hamburger Casserole

1 can (14 ounces) green beans
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3 to 4 medium potatoes, sliced
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 can (16 ounces) cream of celery soup
1 cup grated cheese

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain beans and save 1/2 cup liquid. Slice potatoes in greased 6x9-inch pan. Put meat over potatoes. Combine beans and garlic salt, stirring well. Put over meat. Combine soup and bean juice and spread over beans. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Does not need salt and pepper.
