Sweet Potato Casserole

4 cups sweet potatoes or yams, cooked and mashed (you may used canned yams)
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup melted margarine
1 cup chopped pecans

Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, vanilla, margarine, eggs, and milk; mix well and place in an ungreased 13x9-inch cake pan.
Mix topping ingredients together until crumbly and spread over potato mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
