Mandarin Orange Cake

This cake is rich and very moist.

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons soda
2 eggs
2 cans (11 ounces each) Mandarin oranges
Glaze:
1-1/2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons milk
6 tablespoons butter

Instructions

Mix together sugar, flour, vanilla, soda, eggs and Mandarin oranges. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour glaze over hot cake. To make glaze, cook ingredients until sugars are dissolved. Drizzle over top.
