Homemade Rhubarb Bake

This is an original Amish recipe.

1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 eggs
Rhubarb, fresh-cut, finely chopped (as much as desired)
1 package (2-3 ounces) gelatin, any flavor
Topping:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar

Mix together everything except rhubarb and jello, press into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch pan. Cover completely with rhubarb. Sprinkle gelatin powder over rhubarb.
For the topping, Crumb together butter, flour and sugar. Sprinkle on top of rhubarb. Bake at 350 degrees until golden and bubbly.
