Cabbage Cheese Bake

1 medium head cabbage (cleaned and chopped)
8 ounces American cheese
1 can (15 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1/4 stick (2 tablespoons) margarine or butter
Steam cabbage in large kettle until almost tender. Keep water at a minimum. Drain well. Mix cabbage, diced cheese, soup and margarine or butter in a pan and pour into a greased 2-quart dish. Cover and bake 350 degrees until done, about 1 hour.
