Savory Party Bread

Ingredients

1 unsliced round loaf sourdough bread
1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped dgreen onions
1-2 teaspoons poppy seeds

Instructions

Cut bread lengthwise and crosswise without cutting through the bottom crust. Insert cheese between cuts. Combine butter, onion and poppyseeds and drizzle over bread. Wrap in foil. Place on a baking sheeet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover. Bake 15 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
