Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Ingredients

1 package (23.5 ounces) fudge brownie mix with can of chocolate flavored syrup
48 chocolate-covered peanut butter cups (wrappers removed)

Instructions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom only of rectangular pan, 13x9x2-inches. Prepare cake-like brownies as directed on the package. Spread in pan. Arrange peanut butter cups with wrappers removed in rows (8x6-inches) on batter. Press candies down until even with top of batter. Bake 35 minutes; cool 2 hours. Cut into 1-1/2- or 2-inch squares. Makes 48 to 24 brownies, depending on how you cut them.
