Cranberry Bars

2 eggs, well beaten
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1-1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 heaping teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups halved cranberries
1/2 cup peacans or walnuts

Cream together eggs, sugar and margarine or butter. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, cranberries and nuts. Bake in a 9x13-inch pan at 325 degrees F. for 35-40 minutes.
