Pumpkin Dessert

6 eggs
1-1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 large can (29 ounces) pumpkin
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
2 cups evaporated milk
Topping
1 package yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Beat eggs well. Add sugar and beat again. Add salt, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger and milk. Mix. Pour into 9x13-inch pan and set aside.
Mix together cake mix and margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture and nuts over top of the pumpkin layer.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream.
