1/2 pound bacon
1 round steak
5 or 6 potatoes, sliced
1 onion, sliced
6 carrots or 1 can mixed vegetables
Salt and pepper to taste
Put four strips of bacon in bottom of Dutch oven. Cut round steak into slightly larger than bite size and brown in skillet.
Layer steak on top of bacon. Layer potatoes and onion on top of steak. Salt and pepper to taste.
Put sliced carrots or mixed vegetables on top of potatoes.
Pur flour slices of bacon on top of all.
Cover with lid and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
